Dark Cosmos

My Cosmos series explores the mystery and wonder of the universe: the gravitational pull of black holes, the possibilities of multiple universes, string theory, supernovas, and the death of stars. These concepts have always filled me with awe. Most of the universe is made of dark matter. I am deeply drawn to black in all its variations, from sooty matte charcoal to a luminous, polished sheen. Working with pared-down palette of blacks and greys, I explored the tension between shape and void, and the immensity of space itself.
